Job seeking visa for six months
If you have a university degree which is recognized in Germany you can search with this visa up to six months for a job in Germany. The job must correspond to your professional qualification.
In general, Israeli nationals do not require a visa to enter Germany. They can apply for the necessary residence permit from the Foreigners Authority upon arrival in Germany.
For an application at the German Embassy in Tel Aviv you need to make an appointment online.

A valid passport (+ one copy)
One biometric passport picture
University Diploma (+ one copy)
Curriculum vitae
Motivation letter with information about the job you are seeking (sector, region, intended position etc.)
Evidence of your current employment (e.g. salary slip)
Evidence how you are going to finance your six months stay (e.g . by bank statements of the last three months). The required sum is 6.162.-Euro (6 x 1.027.- Euro).
travel insurance for the six months of your stay in Germany with a coverage of at least 30,000 Euros and valid for all Schengen countries
The application fee for the national visa is 75 Euro to be paid in ILS in cash or by creditcard.
ANABIN
For skilled professionals with vocational training, the equivalence of qualification must be established (www.anerkennung-in-deutschland.de)
Your university diploma must be recognized in Germany.
You can check whether your foreign university degree is recognized or comparable to a German degree by consulting the ANABIN database. (only in German).
Both the university (H+) and your study program must be recognized or comparable. Please attach a printout of the results of your enquiry.
Important: If the documents aren’t originally in German or English a translated into German has to be provided. Documents in English don’t have to be translated.
